Hi there, I’m in a similar position. Long story short, dug out my AML-S805X-AC that I bought with the kickstarter. I haven’t found the USB cord. I’d like to flash the eMMC or Update the firmware. Can I use ANY USB A to A cable or is there a special pinout? Do you have any alternatives to the cord? Where can I buy one, if I need? Thanks
UPDATE: I used the ESC menu to boot from a USB that flashed the latest firmware. Used these instructions: AML-S805X-AC La Frite How to Update Board UEFI BIOS Firmware
Now I will attempt to flash an OS img to the usb, boot that, and use that to flash the eMMC if that’s possible?
UPDATE#2: I cannot find an AML-S805X-AC image on the software download site: Index of /ci/
I’ve tried all the different distros. Is there another image I should be choosing?
