The main site at https://libre.computer has been rebuilt. The short version of what changed, and the parts that matter if you spend your time here:
Full specifications on every product page. Each board now carries its own specification — platform, form factor, standard IO, pin headers, power, software support, lifecycle — in the same sections and the same order for every product, so two boards can actually be compared side by side.
MSRP is published. Single-unit pricing per memory configuration is shown on each product page and in the catalogue. Volume and design-in pricing is still by inquiry.
The catalogue filters, and the filters are linkable. Narrow by SoC vendor, CPU, memory, GPU, IO and form factor at Products — Libre Computer — selections inside one group widen the result, and each additional group narrows it. The state lives in the query string, so a filtered view is a URL you can paste to someone.
Light, dark, and auto. The site follows your system setting by default and lets you override it. This forum now uses the same palette and typeface, so moving between the two is less jarring — and the hub finally has a working dark mode, which it did not before.
Each board links its discussions here. The Help tab on a product page now points at that board’s tag on the hub — for example aml-s905x-cc — so the specification and the accumulated troubleshooting are one click apart instead of two different searches. Every released board has a tag, and every tag is named for the board’s part number.
Software support and security are documented. Security & Software Support — Libre Computer sets out the software support window per board, the update channels, how to request a software bill of materials (sbom@libre.computer), and how to report a vulnerability (security@libre.computer, with a machine-readable contact at https://libre.computer/.well-known/security.txt).
Also, quietly: the blog archive’s internal links work again, images no longer block first paint, and the whole site is reachable by keyboard with real form labels.
If something looks wrong, or a specification does not match the board in front of you, say so in Site Feedback — the specifications are now checked against each other automatically, but they are only as good as the source, and you have the hardware.
