Alta and eleclab HDMI screen

I have an Alta board hooked up to an eleclab 7in HDMI touchscreen (7INCH_HDMI_DISPLAY/ElecLab 7INCH HDMI Touchscreen Display USER GUIDE.pdf at main · eleclab-rpi/7INCH_HDMI_DISPLAY · GitHub)

Everything about it works just fine but as far as the USB touch controller is concerned, I can’t get it to recognize the USB device, lsusb shows nothing, dmesg also shows nothing. I’ve updated and tried everything else I can think of, Any ideas?

Does the touch screen work on a regulator computer? If nothing registers on lsusb, it’s an issue with the touch screen. Check sudo dmesg -w for logs when you plug it in. Could also be a power issue.
