had to make an alt so i could reply again. but i got it figured out. the touch now works , but thereā€™s still no display. i used the instructions on the page where i got the screen and tried installing i like you would the raspberry pi. but no luck. any ideas?

Hey, got my mhs3528 working, screen and touch. However, Iā€™ve got a few questionsā€¦

  1. Can the screen be used without a GUI? Iā€™d like to boot straight into terminal, and just run PADD on the screen. Right now, if I use raspi-config to change to terminal boot, the screen remains black.

  2. Is this the updated dts and should it be used instead of ā€œspicc-cs1-mhs3528ā€?

  3. Is the mouse cursor intentionally disabled, and is there a way to re-enable it? I do not plan on using the touchscreen and it is really annoying that it is invisible (EDIT: this might be a VNC issue, not screen issue***)
