Broken connection to HDMI and peripherals

Few days ago I received a Renegade Elite (roc-rk3399-pc) and tried to power it on

I did everything by the book - used 65w type c power supply and good micro SD card (SanDisk Ultra 32gb). Flashed micro SD card with Ubuntu server OS according to the guide.

When I attempt to start it, during boot process HDMI output is corrupted (most of the image is coming fine, but small part of it is fully distorted), after boot there is no output at all. Same for USB peripherals - during boot, they seem to be somewhat responsive (LED on keyboard is working) after boot keyboard LED dies

I believe that boot process is somewhat successful since after the boot, board is able successfully to lease IP address in the local network.

The problem have repeated for multiple SD cards and multiple power supplies

Have anyone encountered problem like this before?

Thanks for the help and best regards

I don’t have any experience with the Renegade Elite, but I would suggest you try to use a serial UART connection to the board if you have one to see if the board works. Alternatively, if the board is successfully obtaining an IP, you can also try to ssh into it. In my experience, server images do output a terminal on the video output, but maybe not in your case. Either way, any of this methods could help to figure out if it’s a problem with boot or the display output
