CoreELEC is based on Amlogic’s vendor SDK with huge improvements made by a team of devoted developers. Like LibreELEC, CoreELEC is focused on releasing Kodi open source home theater software. But unlike LibreELEC which uses an upstream kernel, CoreELEC’s downstream vendor kernel is an older version but with better support for the specific board in many cases.

What image should be used for Solitude AML-S905D3-CC ?
I can’t get any of it working for now.

They have an image for Solitude now that you can try. It’s a nightly build, so it may have some bugs. I do not have this board so I have not tested it. I did not see it there last time I checked a few days ago, so it might be the first release.

Check the nightly builds under Amlogic-no / ce-21. They also have an image for Alta if anyone wants to try it. It’s a little janky but it works.
