How to install libretech apps on Jammy OS?

The libretech utilities require our Raspbian or Ubuntu images as it makes use of our kernels and bootloaders. Using Armbian will not work with our utilities as their kernels and bootloaders do things differently.

Armbian vs Libre Computer Images

Please note that most of the tooling and guides we write about are for Libre Computer images. Our images attempt to stay as close to upstream as possible. Armbian has numerous customizations that are different from upstream and mirror some elements from Raspberry Pi like armbian-config. If you are using Armbian or other third party images, some of our guides and software may not be applicable. However, you can still ask questions about Armbian and we will do our best to answer.
