Libre aml s905x-cc (Le potato) partially boots then screen goes blank

When booting up. The screen goes through the initial boot sequence then stops at “ network manager dispatcher service” and then the screen goes blank…it looks like I loaded everything correctly since the Libre logo pulled up, the system began booting and the green led is on and the blue light is flashing which to my understanding means that the Kernel is running but once it gets to a certain point the screen goes blank and nothing comes back up. The image loaded was the Ubuntu 22.04.3 preinstalled desktop aml-s905x image. I made sure I extracted the files and flashed it correctly. Any ideas? I know I’m missing something. Sorry if this doesn’t make much sense or if im missing details I’m still learning a few things here and there.

Okay so i have the same issue with one Le potato out of two. However I just replaced the power supply and usb cable and mine is now working. Did yours work before? also if there is any USB devices plugged in I found that its best too have a 5volt 3amp wall “wart” and a good USB cable. That is in my experience.

Thanks! I’ll go ahead and switch out my power supply and see if that does it :smile:Also it didn’t work before. I did swap out a power bank that has more to give out but it may not be enough so I’ll grab a compatible cable that can dish out enough juice to get it going.
