running the 905 fine up and running Cinnamon version of Ubuntu. Wonder if there are video drivers to increase the performance playing videos.
The application needs support for M2M decode. This already exists in gstreamer/gst123. However X11 Cinnamon does memory copy of the entire buffer instead of directly outputting onto the video output like on Wayland so it will be slower than on weston.
Are there any plans for an opencl driver? I have read that there has been some drivers created for other sbc, how about for the mali-450 in the potato?
Le Potato does not support OpenCL.
still now? Can’t we apply this link? OpenCL support on Debian/hikey960 - 96Boards
OpenCL is not yet supported by the upstream Mesa stack for ARM devices. You need to build ARM’s proprietary library which requires the ARM DDK which is also proprietary.
