Has there been any progress on this? Its been over 2 years at this point and I’d like to run openSUSE on my boards.
OpenSUSE is already supported on the boards with SPI NOR/EFI onboard. For boards designed before 2018, you can flash the EFI bootloader on the SD card and flash OpenSUSE on an USB stick. There’s conflict between the EFI bootloader and GPT partitioning that OpenSUSE defaults to. If you manually configure MBR, just using libretech-flash-tool to flash the bootloader onto an SD image after installing works.
