Partition editing tool for RK3328/setting up dual boot

Is there a supported or recommended partition edit tool for the RK3328? I’m trying to set up a dual boot on a single SD card with LibreElec and Lakka to use as a home entertainment center. My intended method would be:

  • Flash the bootloader to a blank SD card
  • Flash the two OSes to two separate USB’s
  • Flash a partition editing tool to a third USB
  • Boot to the partition edit tool and write the two OSes from the USBs to the SD

Is this even possible or viable?

Both of those projects directly boot the Linux kernel. Not sure if they use syslinux or hard code the boot image via u-boot script. You need to learn some u-boot scripting to make a dual boot and it can get very complex very quickly.
