The Site Can't be reached + power supply

Hello,

I’ve been trying in the last couple of days to access the images for AML-S805X-AC, but I’ve constantly got the error of “The site can’t be reached” when I try to get the image.

More than that, which specific image is applicable for the 1GB La Frite? I understand it should be the +arm64.img.xz, as it has UEFI Bios, but which one specifically? What’s the difference between the standard +arm64.img.xz and the full +arm64.img.xz

Also, what is the maximum amperage that is safe for powering La Frite non-stop?

The files are hosted on Akamai’s CDN network. It should have very high availability as Akamai is one of the world’s largest CDN providers. Usually it’s an issue with your ISP’s routing.

Raspbian full has more packages installed. Both are desktop images.

La Frite and all other boards will only draw what it needs. If you are referring to the maximum amperage of the 5V and 3.3V pins, it is less than 2A and 1A since the traces and DC-DC regulators are not designed to be power FETs.

Thank you!

So if I use a phone charger of 5V 2.5A or 5v 3A, I should be alright, correct?

Yeah, anything that can deliver 5V with more than 1.5A should be more than enough for La Frite provided that the PSU label is accurate.

Thank you !
What additional packages are we talking about in the full version vs standard? What benefits are going with the full one?

This is a Raspbian release configuration. See the release notes per the download page: https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/operating-systems/
