Is there some way to actually move the discussion from the unrelated topic where it arose?
New question: does USB booting actually work on, say, La Frite (which doesn’t have a a USB hub chip possibly confusing things)? I see a lot of discussions about boot not working, but it’s not clear if those are the same cause (seem to be a lot of dicey uSD cards and glitchy USB keyboards out there ).
La Frite does not have a USB hub so it’s not affected by the timeout issues experienced by the hub. We are in the middle of fixing those issues for Sweet Potato and other boards.
