Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with my Le Potato (AML-S905X-CC) regarding a TP-Link TL-WN725N WiFi dongle.
The Problem: Every time I reboot the system, the WiFi dongle stops working. It is not recognized by the OS until I physically unplug it and plug it into a different USB port. Once swapped, it connects automatically and works perfectly until the next reboot.
Setup Details:
-
Board: AML-S905X-CC (Le Potato)
-
WiFi Dongle: TP-Link TL-WN725N (Realtek RTL8188EUS chipset)
-
OS: Ubuntu server → ubuntu-22.04.3-preinstalled-server-arm64+aml-s905x-cc.img
I’ve tried different USB ports, but the behavior is consistent: it requires a physical “re-plug” or port swap to initialize after a warm boot.
Is there a known fix for USB power cycling or a driver parameter I should adjust to ensure the dongle initializes correctly on boot?
Thanks in advance!
