What is the required input voltage for RK3399?

(Spec states power consumption only)

I’m interested in powering the RK3399 from a powerbank - their maximum voltage differs depending on the physical architecture (i.e. number of elements), so e.g. only a few are capable of powering a typical laptop (20V).

So, what does RK3399 require?

Ok, found a powerbank with a voltage meter - the board boots from 5v, then the kernel loads and the voltage gets renegotiated to 20v (PD). That’s the maximum the powerbank could supply.

I’ll try with another, simpler one.

UPD: same with a 12v powerbank - kernel makes it switch from 5v to 12v.

Schematics at https://drive.google.com/file/d/162C8mfrm1__Lm5sD4PtgNaOAYpAAxsHG/view mention 12v

And the same is written on https://wiki.t-firefly.com/en/ROC-3399-PC-PLUS/module_power_adapter.html

(what’s the relation between firefly and librecomputer, I wonder?)

The input is flex-voltage so up to 24V. However, the system voltage is 12V so don’t put 24V on that rail.
