Can I hotplug the eMMC module?

Hello, I attempted to flash OpenBSD on the eMMC module for the ROC-RK-3328-CC but it is unable to boot and the board shuts down just right after.

It looks like I have to remove the module, boot from the SD, and then reattach the module, clean it and install something else.

Can I hotplug the eMMC module or it needs to be mount on a powerless state?

You can hot plug the module. Just careful not to short anything.

eMMC (Re)-Detection by Driver Re-Binding

The MMC subsystem driver can unbind and bind devices to re-detect them. eMMC can be hot plugged but require the driver to be re-bound for the driver run through the initial probe again to detect the device.
