DPI Touchscreen for Le Potato?

i’m trying to have my 4in DPI LCD connect via GPIO in all 40 slots to Le Potato. Haven’t succeeded yet and I’m wondering if this type of display is simply not possible because it’s DPI and there is loose documentation on the subject. Is this one of the differences between LePotato and Raspberry Pi or is it possible? In general i am not experienced so any help would be appreciated.

DPI is not supported on anything other than RPI. Never buy a DPI display as it can only be supported by the hardware it’s targeting.

Trying to get Waveshare 3.5" Capactive Touch Screen working with AML-S905X-CC

Hi, So I did follow that post in detail before making mine. The display I’m using appears to use a different overlay as I couldn’t get anything at all to show on mine. The 3.5" display from Waveshare referenced in that post has fewer GPIO pins and a lower resolution, as well as a resistive instead of capacitive touch screen.
