You need our latest Linux 6.12 kernel.
You can set WOL via ethtool: ethtool -s eth0 wol g
This will enable WOL until the PHY is reset either by software interface reset or hardware reset.
If you suspend and resume the system, WOL will stay enabled. If you are using network interface manager like Network Manager, it may reset the interface on suspend/resume which will cause WOL to be disabled upon resume. You need to re-enable WOL in that case.
If you shutdown or restart the system, WOL will be disabled on the next reboot. However, you can still boot the board via WOL if WOL is enabled before shutdown. It just won’t persist after that if not set again.
