Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knew of any in depth tutorials or guides on how to configure and boot custom images on aml-s905x-cc?

You can write the pre-compiled bootloader here to a MicroSD card using libretech-flash-tool and then create any EFI based boot disk image. There’s an tutorial on Arch’s wiki.
