Raspberry Pi Imager for MacOS

I was excited to receive “la potato” today. The rPi imager seems viable for Windows, so I speculated it was good for MacOS.

I apparently used the wrong image: 2022-09-22-raspbian-bullseye-arm64+all-h3-cc-h5.img

I flashed the SD card with Raspbian and plugged the SBC into 2.4A 5V source (Anker). Not sure why it is not working. Is there a troubleshooting checklist? It seems that the power source is a frequent problem, however, I think that my power supply is good.

The BLUE and RED LEDs are solid. No green

  1. Make sure the image you downloaded has the right filename (+aml-s905x-cc.img.xz).
  2. Make sure you extract the image (img.xz to .img).
  3. Make sure your flash passes a verification pass.
  4. The red and blue LED should turn on after applying power.
  5. After 1 second, the green LED should turn on and the blue LED should turn off.

Thank you for the prompt response. After downloading & installing the right filename (+aml-s905x-cc.img.xz), I was successful.
